Mercedes-Benz R CLASS in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Mercedes-Benz R CLASS is named on 6 British notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The British register

- DVSA recall R/2021/279: Mercedes-Benz SLK, M Class, R Class and 2 more (The driver's air bag may have a chemical change to its propellant o...)
- DVSA recall R/2022/137: Mercedes-Benz GL, R Class and ML (The function of the brake booster might be affected due to advanced...)
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

On certain vehicles, the nuts used to anchor seat belt buckles of the second row seat may not have been manufactured correctly. The screw threads in the nuts may be missing. The seat belt buckles could separate from the seat assembly during a vehicle crash. If a separation occurred in a crash, seat occupants may not be properly restrained, increasing the risk of personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace second row seats.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2006076.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Mercedes-Benz: 477 in the register, and 377 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2006.
