On certain vehicles, an incorrect steering shaft may have been installed during vehicle assembly. As a result, the shaft could become loose at the steering box during tight steering manoeuvres. If this occurs, steering control could be lost, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the steering intermediate shafts.
