On certain motorcycles, a bolt attaching the drag link to the drop link may fracture. This would allow the rear suspension to drop causing the underside of the mudguard to contact the tire. As a result, the rider may lose control of the motorcycle, causing a crash with injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a longer drag link bearing sleeve with higher grade hardware.
