On certain Low Cab Forward (LCF) trucks, the Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) connector has a heat insulation sleeve that may retain water. Over time, the collected water may corrode the connector leads resulting in various engine performance concerns including; running rough, difficult or unable to be started, and/or an engine stall. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if required, will replace the IPR connector.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2006362.
