On certain motorcycles, the coolant hose connecting the horizontal cylinder head to the thermostat may develop a leak. Hot coolant spayed onto the rider's leg could cause scalding injuries. Furthermore, if coolant is sprayed onto the rear tire, it would create the risk of a crash causing injuries or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the coolant hose.
