On certain motorhomes equipped with a Busman Power Distribution System, a loose electrical connection inside the Dual Vehicle Electrical Center (DVEC) may cause an electrical power loss to major chassis operating systems (engine, transmission, starting, cooling, lighting, ABS), causing the vehicle to shutdown and/or prevent powering up. This could result in a crash, causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the DVEC module.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2008059.
