On certain ATVs, the engine may fail to shut off when pulling the cord from the accessory tether engine shut-off switch post installed on these race-ready vehicles. If this occurs in situations where the rider is ejected, the vehicle may run away uncontrolled until the engine gets back to idle. This situation may lead to a collision with bystanders or other vehicles which could cause serious personal injuries or death. Correction: Dealers will remove the tether engine shut-off switch assembly and its cord.
