On certain vehicles, the park brake cable link (connector) may fracture when the park brake pedal is depressed. Should the vehicle be parked on a sufficient slope, and the transmission shift lever be in any position other than PARK, it may result in unintended vehicle movement which could cause a vehicle crash resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will replace the park brake cable link (connector).
