On certain motorhomes, the refrigerator exhaust may vent into the interior of the refrigerator cabinet rather than to the exterior. This is only a concern when the refrigerator is operated in the LPG mode. Improper venting of the exhaust may result in heat damage to the interior of the refrigerator cabinet. This could result in a fire causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, install a baffle in the rear of the cabinet to divert exhaust to the exterior vent.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2009191.
