Certain motorhomes fail to comply with the requirements of CMVSS 108 - Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment. The Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) feature was omitted during vehicle assembly. Lack of DRL function may render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and pedestrians, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash causing personal injury or death. Correction: Dealer will install the required hardware to make the DRLs function as required.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2009319.
