On certain motorcycles, the switches on the handlebars for both the direction indicator and the emergency engine-off-start functions may fail. If this happens, the directional indicator and/or the emergency engine-off-start functions may not work properly. Improper function of the direction indicators or sudden engine stalling may create the risk of a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the handlebar switches.
