On certain trailers, the latching mechanism may be misadjusted and may not properly secure the front of the watercraft while being transported. Road oscillations could cause the watercraft to jump out of the mechanism and, if the rear latching straps are not used to properly secure the back of the unit, it may slide off the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install a safety cable on the front latch mechanism. An updated label will be installed on the trailer and an updated user guide will be provided to owners.
