On certain bus tires, the depth of the tire sidewall wear indicator (dimple), which is used by tire technicians to monitor sidewall wear, may have been improperly manufactured, resulting in the possibility of exposed body ply cord. Over time, this condition could result in the deterioration of the tire, creating the potential for air loss at the location of the dimple. A loss of tire air pressure could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace affected tires.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2010208.
