Certain buses fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 120 - Tire Selection and Rims. The Cargo-Carrying Capacity label does not contain correct tire pressure information. The label incorrectly indicates tire pressures of 115 kPa / 793 psi, instead of 793 kPa / 115 psi. Improper tire pressure can lead to tire failure which, in turn, can result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011177.
