On certain fifth wheel trailers, the electrical transfer switch may have been wired incorrectly during vehicle assembly. This could allow 220 volt current (instead of 110 volt) through the trailer's electrical system. This voltage increase could lead to overheating of the electrical system, which could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, correct the transfer switch installation.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011190.
