On certain motorhomes, the propane supply hose may contact a metal tank guard bracket and/or the propane compartment door frame. Continued contact could wear through the supply hose, which could result in a propane leak. A propane gas leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire or an explosion, which could cause property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the propane supply hose. Additionally, a rubberized clamp will be added to reposition the hose and to ensure adequate clearance is maintained.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011312.
