On certain buses, improper Bulk-Head Module software may cause the side marker and turn signal lamps to stop functioning after a few minutes of vehicle operation. Side marker failure could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists during hours of darkness, while a turn signal lamp malfunction may prevent the driveru2019s intentions from being conveyed clearly to other road users. These issues could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service facilities will update the Bulk-Head Module software.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2012038.
