On certain vehicles, one or more rear suspension bolt(s) may not have been tightened top the specified torque during vehicle assembly. If the bolt(s) loosen, sudden changes in vehicle handling could occur, particularly at higher speeds. A loss of vehicle control could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, tighten the rear suspension bolts.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2013023.
