Certain buses fail to conform to the requirements of CMVSS 217 u2013 Bus Window Retention, Release and Emergency Exits. The roof emergency exit label may not contain adequate instructions for opening the exit rapidly, contrary to the requirements of the standard. In the event of an emergency, this could hamper passengers' efforts to quickly exit the vehicle, which could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will install updated labels.
