On certain motorcycles, the saddlebags mounting receptacles may not adequately secure the saddlebags to the motorcycle during use. This could result in the separation of the saddlebags from the motorcycle while in motion, creating a road hazard for other motorists, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install updated receptacles.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2015301.
