Certain motorhomes may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The module that controls the vehicle's tail lights, stop lights, signal lights, clearance lights and marker lights could potentially fail due to moisture intrusion into the housing of the module. This condition could affect the rear brake lights on the vehicle or on a towed object that is connected to the vehicle. Failure of brake lights to illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed could result in a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will relocate the module to a water resistant location.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2016391.
