Transport Canada carries this recall as 2016573, dated 17 November 2016. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 16V841, dated 21 November 2016. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, 910008.

The two registers are 4 days apart: the Canadian entry is dated first, the American one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 16V841, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

On certain fifth wheel trailers manufactured with a Christianson Industries exterior foldable ladder, the ladder's mounting bracket could separate from the hinge due to an incorrect weld. This could result in the ladder separating from the vehicle, which if an individual were to be utilizing the ladder, it could lead to an increased risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a hinge brace over the back of the existing hinges to secure the hinge and mounting bracket.
