On certain motorcycles, an incorrect speed sensor cable clamp may allow the clamp to move from its original position when turning/steering. If this happens, the speed sensor cable (lead wire) may bend and break, causing the speedometer to stop displaying vehicle speed. This could result in the vehicle being driven at higher speed than anticipated, which could increase the risk of a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the speed sensor cable with a new one of a different design.
