On certain vehicles equipped with the M270 gasoline engine, the connection piece from the vacuum line to the brake booster may break. If this occurs, the brake booster would no longer be supplied with vacuum which could increase pedal effort, and extend stopping distances, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction : Dealers will replace the vacuum line from the brake booster.
