Certain vehicles with factory installed 15-inch tires may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 110 - Tire Selection and Rims. The certification label incorrectly states the sidewall height for the rear tires, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard. The rear tire specification on the label should read 195/65 R15. Correction: Dealers will install a new tire information label with correct specifications.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2017053.
