On certain travel trailers outfitted with Furrion cook tops, the LP hose going to the cook top is angled down and is pressing against the top of the oven. This could cause the LP hose to put excessive pressure on the hose fitting and gas valve, which over time, could develop an LP leak. A propane leak, in the presence of an ignition source could result in a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install and position a flexible gas connector from the cook top to the LP hose so as not to put pressure on the valve.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2017090.
