On certain infant car seats, the center tab on the chest clip may break off, which could present a choking hazard to an infant in the car seat. Correction: Consumers are advised to call Britax Child Safety, Inc. at 1-833-474-7016 to request a free remedy kit that contains step-by-step instructions as well as a replacement chest clip made from a different material that improves the durability of the tab.
