Canada — Transport Canada, Vehicle Recalls Database
On certain vehicles equipped with 3.3 litre engines, the crankshaft may have pin surface irregularities. This could lead to premature crankshaft and/or engine bearing wear. If the vehicle continues to be driven with a worn engine bearing or crankshaft, it could cause an engine stall while the vehicle is in motion, resulting in loss of motive power which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, replace the engine assembly. Note: This condition would result in the check engine light and the oil pressure lamp to illuminate in the instrument cluster.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2017468.
