On certain motorcycles, a crack within the polyphenilene sulphide (PPS) piston of the front brake master cylinder could occur. This may result in the master cylinder failing to generate sufficient hydraulic pressure, thereby causing a loss of front braking capability, increasing stopping distances and the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the PPS piston with one made from aluminum.
