On certain travel trailers, the compartment that houses the refrigerator may not have been properly sealed during vehicle assembly. If the compartment was not properly sealed, it is possible for carbon monoxide and/or propane gas to enter the living area, which could lead to asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning to occupants. Correction: Dealers will remove the refrigerator, reseal the compartment, and reinstall the refrigerator.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018096.
