This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-331. rnrnOn certain ATVs, the throttle stop lever may have been damaged during shipping. This may prevent the throttle from returning to its home position, or it may render the speed-limiting feature inoperative, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Polaris will send instructions to owners advising to inspect the area around the throttle. If there are any signs of damage found, dealers will repair as necessary.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018194.
