Certain motorhomes may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 104 - Windshield Wiping and Washing System. The wiper system could fail as it does not stall or disengage during a heavy snow or ice scenario, contrary to the requirements of the standard. This could reduce the driver's visibility under certain conditions, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the wiper module with a new relay pack.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018242.
