Certain models equipped with a tire inflator kit may fail to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 301 u2013 Fuel System Integrity. The companyu2019s internal testing indicates that, under certain conditions in a rollover following a severe rear-impact crash, a sensor attached to the fuel tank may contact the rear floor panel, and possibly cause a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install a lock-ring on the fuel tank that shields the vapour pressure sensor.
