On certain motorcycles, hydraulic fluid could leak past the clutch secondary actuator piston/seal. Over time, the loss of fluid could create an inability disengage the clutch. This may lead to a loss of control when started in gear, first shifted into gear, or while coming to stop, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a new clutch secondary actuator piston assembly.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2018572.
