Issue: rnOn certain trucks, the t-bolts for the transmission air tank straps may have been over-tightened. This could cause the straps to deform and allow the air tank to drop to the ground. If the air tank detaches, the transmission would not shift. rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn air tank that completely detaches from the truck could create a road hazard for others. A transmission that does not shift properly could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnVolvo will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the transmission air tank straps for damage. The straps will be replaced as required.
