Issue: rnOn a small number of Jetta GLI models, one or both of the front wheel bearings could be defective. This could lead to poor driving performance and/or cause a wheel to break. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA sudden change in vehicle handling or a broken wheel could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnVolkswagen will contact owners by telephone and instruct you to stop driving your vehicle. Volkswagen will arrange free towing to the nearest dealership. The front wheel bearing assemblies, wheels, and wheel bolts will be replaced.
