Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the stop lamp switch could fail. If this happens, the brake lights may not turn on when the brakes are applied and it may not be possible to start the engine. rnrnSafety Risk: rnBrake lights that do not work properly could result in road users being confused of the driver's intentions, and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnNissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the stop lamp switch. The dealer will also install a grommet to protect the switch.
