Issue: rnOn certain travel trailers, the suspension shackle nuts may not be properly tightened. As a result, the nuts could loosen, and the suspension or axle could detach from the vehicle while driving. This could cause a loss of control. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of control could result in a crash. Parts that detach from the trailer could also create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of crash. rn rnCorrective Action: rnForest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to ensure that the suspension shackle nuts are properly tightened.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2021371.
