Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the passenger-side power sliding door may not latch properly. If this happens, the door could open while driving. rnNote: If the sliding door does not latch properly, you may see warnings on the instrument cluster and hear an alert chime. If you ignore these warnings and drive above 10 km/h, a continuous door-ajar ringing will sound and the door-ajar warning will show a flashing red symbol. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA door that opens while driving could create a risk of injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnKia will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to repair the door latch on the passenger-side power sliding door.
