Issue: rnOn certain travel trailers, the interior cooktop burner could be affected by the operation of the furnace. This could potentially cause the burner flame to invert. rnNote: This is an expansion of Forest River recall 203-1434 (Transport Canada Recall No. 2021-646). rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn inverted burner flame could create the risk of a burn injury or cause a fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnForest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to seal any gaps that could allow return air from the furnace to cause an inverted flame on the cooktop. To minimize the safety risk, Forest River recommends that the furnace and interior cooktop should not be used at the same time before the recall repairs have been completed.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2022001.
