Issue: rnOn certain trailers, the hitch coupler may not be fully welded. As a result, the hitch coupler could fail while driving. If this happens, the trailer could separate from the tow vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA trailer that separates from the tow vehicle can create the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnLegend Manufacturing advises you not to tow your trailer until it has been inspected. The company will notify owners by mail and ask you to send them pictures of the bottom of the hitch coupler. If the coupler is not fully welded, it must be replaced before the trailer is towed.
