Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the power tilt-adjustment mechanism for the driver's seat frame may not have been properly welded. As a result, the seat could fail and move in a crash. rnNote: This recall only affects vehicles with a 6-way power adjustable seat. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA seat that fails in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnGeneral Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the driver's seat cushion frame.
