Issue:
Under certain conditions, the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) may not display the current tire pressure and temperature on the instrument panel's information center. Instead, it could incorrectly display a temperature and pressure that is much higher than the normal range. This could cause confusion about the actual tire pressure. Driving a vehicle with tires that are not properly inflated could cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.
Note: The TPMS warning telltale will continue to function as designed and will alert you if the tire pressure is too low. This recall only affects motorhome chassis equipped with a SpartanLync tire pressure monitoring system. This recall is part of FL-935 (Transport Canada recall 2022-276).Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.Corrective Actions:
REV Group will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) authorized service facility to update the TPMS control module software. Additionally, a longer TPMS antenna mounting bracket will be installed on certain motorhomes.
