Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the trailer hitch bolts may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the bolts could loosen, and the hitch could detach from the vehicle while towing a trailer. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA trailer hitch that detaches from a vehicle could create a risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnVolkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the trailer hitch bolts.
