Issue: rnOn certain snowmobiles, the snap ring that attaches the fuel dampener to the fuel rail could come loose and fall out. If this happens, fuel could leak from the fuel rail. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnTextron will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your snowmobile to a dealership to replace the snap ring that attaches the fuel dampener to the fuel rail. To reduce the safety risk, Textron advises not to use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2023144.
