Issue:
On certain vehicles, the accelerator pedal bracket may not have been welded properly. As a result, the pedal could deform and/or detach. If this happens, the accelerator pedal could stay applied and/or block the brake pedal, causing reduced braking.Safety Risk:

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to secure the accelerator pedal bracket.
