Issue: rnOn certain transit buses, the roof hatch (emergency exit) may not be able to be opened. This could prevent occupants from using this emergency exit and/or delay occupants from escaping the bus in an emergency. rnNote: This recall only affects buses with a double-paned roof emergency exit. rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn emergency exit that can't be opened could slow your exit from the bus in an emergency. This could increase the risk of injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnAlexander Dennis will notify owners in writing and provide them with updated safety instruction labels and instructions for how to install a secondary release button. Alternatively, Alexander Dennis will arrange for a service team to complete the recall repairs.
