Issue: rnOn certain aerial devices, the cotter pin securing the lift cylinder pivot pin could wear prematurely and fail. As a result, the pivot pin could loosen and fall out. If this happens, the lift cylinder could disconnect from the elevation support. rnNote: This recall only affects elevation supports models 240-00-V03 and 240-00-V04.rnrnSafety Risk: rnA lift cylinder that disconnects could create a risk of injury for the operator and people nearby. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnLes u00c9quipements RH will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the pivot pin and hardware. To reduce the safety risk, the company advises that you should inspect the aerial device before use and shouldn't use it if there's damage to the pivot pin or cotter pin.
