Transport Canada carries this recall as 2025031, dated 24 January 2025. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 25V030, dated 23 January 2025. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, SC0474.

The two registers are 1 day apart: the American entry is dated first, the Canadian one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 25V030, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnA small number of trucks may have been manufactured without the wiring for the antilock braking system (ABS) for a towed trailer. Additionally, there is no warning light to advise the driver if the ABS for the trailer isn't working. rnrnSafety Risk: rnAn antilock braking system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install the ABS wiring and warning light.
