Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, a software problem in the electronic stability program (ESP) control unit could cause ESP warning messages not to meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations. This could also cause the malfunction indicator light not to turn on in certain conditions. rnrnSafety Risk: rnWarning messages that don't meet the requirements could create confusion and increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the ESP control unit software.
